Check this out:

CPU: AMD Sempron 140 Sargas 2.7GHz 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 45W Single-Core Processor. $37 dollars. Because multiple cores are stupid and worthless for gaming.

Motherboard: JetWay JM26GT4-LF AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. $40 dollars. JetWay is a pretty cool guy and eh doesn't afraid of anything. The only bad thing is that it has a Nvidia card and we all know that they are terrible but it's ok because I havent gotten to the video card yet.

Video Card: Open Box: MSI R4350-MD512H Radeon HD 4350 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card . $23 dollars. It's a radeon with half a gigabyte of memory, what else could you need? Also, it doesn't have a fan so it will be quiet enough to hear your games.

RAM: G.SKILL 512MB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) System Memory Model F2-4200PHU1-512NT - Retail. $15 dollars. Check out the rock-bottom latency on this sucker. Also, it's important to only have a single channel memory kit because that way the motherboard can concentrate all its processing power into one module. And since this is a dedicated gaming rig 512MB is about as much as you'll ever need for running a game with.

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST380815AS 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive. $37 Dollars. Smaller drives are good because they slow down as they fill up with data, so therefore an 80gb drive will be faster than a big one. Also, its a Barracuda 7200.10 which is probably the best brand ever.

Case: Linkworld A617-01FFU+P08 Beige / Silver MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case 400W Power Supply. $25 dollars. Perfect fit for our MicroATX motherboard, and comes with a 400 watt powersupply, which should be good considering we are only using one video card and a very energy efficient AMD motherboard!

Total: Irrelevant because you gotta pay to play.

UPDATE: After spending about an hour with Newegg customer support on the phone, I have found an error in my build. It seems that the CPU and Motherboard are not compatible. Figures there would be a snag in my quest for the ultimate gaming PC. The phone representative recommended a combo that they have going on right now:

Same aweseom processor, but a more expensive motherboard

BIOSTAR A770E3 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

however, there is a $10 dollar mail in rebate so it wont jack up the price too badly.
